Lenten menu based on the favourite dishes of great Russian writers. 

The classics of Russian literature - Pushkin, Gogol, Chekhov and others - were egregious gourmets, describing dishes with such subtlety and flavour that you wanted to try them immediately. Lovingly prepared food often took centre stage in iconic novels and novellas, reminding us that hospitality is an important part of the broad Russian soul.
